Cleaning Time received an enquiry from a commercial customer in Loughborough regarding their recently discovered concrete floor they had found underneath an old carpet they had ripped up. They wanted us to remove the old glues and carpet backing and seal the concrete floor. We quickly agreed a cost upon surveying and booked a date in to complete the job. 

We started off by applying a solvent stripping solution to dissolve the carpet rubber backing and glues that were on the floor. We did try to use more eco-friendly products but on this occasion, they simply wasn’t touching the surface of the glues etc. Once this was left to dwell, we then thorough scrubbed the floor using our top of the range rotary machines and diamond brushes in order to remove all of the excess. Once the stripping and cleaning was complete we rinsed the floor using our wet pick up extraction system that removed all the soiled excess and dried the floor out. 

We left the floor to dry out thoroughly for 24 hours and returned to seal the floor. We used a grey colour tint to give the floor a nice matt grey look, our customer insisted on this look as this was going to match the rest of the shop once the furniture was in. As you can see form above the before & after pictures gave an amazing result!
